Construction Management Services

CURO’s objective is to always ensure that construction teams and the other interested parties remain on track to build a project on time, within budget and to the right standard. It does this, as an Owners Representative, by providing a hands-on, active management service with:

  • on-site project (and contract) management and issue resolution
  • technical oversight of the construction contractors and liaison with local stakeholders
  • management of the relationship between the contractors and Lender’s & Owner’s engineer

Following on from Financial Close CURO can provide the following construction services

  • Technical oversight of the Construction Contractors reporting to the Owner, liaising between the Contractor(s), the Owner’s Engineer and the Lender’s Engineer
  • Measurement of Contractor performance against time and cost milestones and recommendations for improvements
  • Review of verification of performance tests, completion of residual post-commissioning, snag lists, and transitioning to operations
  • Invoice management including approval by the Lender’s Engineer and managing the drawdown utilisation process
  • Oversight of the implementation and monitoring of environmental and social action plan (ESAP) and reporting to Lenders and Lenders’ advisors (including any further bird and bat monitoring required under the EIA)
  • Creating monthly reports identifying issues, gaps, actual vs. planned outputs, and recommendations for further actions
  • Reviewing verification of performance tests, completion of residual post-commissioning, snag lists, and transitioning to operations

It is a fact that very few projects get to COD (the start of operations) without, what are sometimes significant, problems. However through active management, CURO has a good track record in renewable energy construction management and successful issue resolution.
